Welcome to the world of the Gecko

Welcome to TeamGecko Productions - home to some of Scotlands newest and most exiting Filmmakers.

TeamGecko is composed of two diverse strands of filmakers; one being live action adlib and the other being carefully coreographed music video. Melded together, they produce what can only be described as hypnotic Cinema.

This is our new site, our old one still stands at but as you'll see it's now a dumping ground for various Spam Companies. It's currently hosted under a different owner and we hope to get it back under control in the near future.

You'll also find the following piece of information which is no longer true

Their first full length feature Baobhan Sith (The Banshee) is currrently in PreProduction and hotly anticipated for a 2010 release.

Baobhan Sith is still in Preproduction but has been pushed further down our slate, we currently don't have a new target date for release.

The Transition of Juliet and Romeo

E-mail Print PDF

Previous visitors to the site might have seen an item on our slate titled "Reservoir Demons" well now the first draft is complete and the second is well under way, we've switched to it's final title "The Transition of Juliet and Romeo". As it's new title suggests the film based on Romeo and Juliet but with a supernatural twist (though we're no longer calling them demons)

The first draft can be read or downloaded from our Preproduction Site and is released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA licence. This means you can make your own film from it (as long as Stuart Jamieson, or Team Gecko Productions are credited as writers), But you can't Sell that film for cash (Non Commercial use only), and if you make changes to it; those changes have to be released under the same licence terms. If anyone else wants to make a commercial version, they just have to contact us and we'll talk about private licensing.

What we do want to encourage, is people giving us feedback on how the script reads, particularly is it too Shakespearian, or too Modern, or just right?

We also need help raising finance in order to put the film in production we're trying to find 15,000 people willing to give £1 each to make this project a reality take a look at our indieGoGo site and consider giving £1 (or more) in return for some great VIP Perks.
